What Do Delayed Periods And Negative Pregnancy Report Suggest?

Hello. I m a 19 year old female, and it s been a little over a month since my last period. I took a pregnancy test (one of the more expensive, accurate ones) a few days ago, and it came up negative. I didn t think I was pregnant, but I had to be sure. I m concerned about not having my period, though. Any idea on what s going on?

Hi,

If you want to rule out pregnancy 100% then you should get investigated with blood quantitative HCG estimation.

If HCG is elevated than trans vaginal ultrasonography should be done for further confirmation.

The urine HCG card test gives conclusive result after one week of the delayed period.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
