What Do Delayed Periods, Spotting And White Clotty Vaginal Discharge Mean?

Hey first i was taking family planing pill but not fah long just a on and off think. Theni went on the family planing injection took it for the first time in my life then stop did not go back for my next shot ... And my period came the other month after the due date ..and Now its going to be almost 2 month Now and my period is not back normal in the second month after my period i saw spotting of blood ... Could dat have been my period .... I took pregnancy text 2 and they were both nagitve .... And now am seeing fleshy white stuff like clot coming from my vagina ..... Plz help me

The white discharge may be a yeast infection which can be treated by oral or topical vaginal creams.

It is possible that the change in your cycle is related to the hormonal contraception that you were previously using. If this is the case , the period would normally return to normal after a few months.

There are other causes of delayed or irregular period such as: (1) polycystic ovarian syndrome- detected by blood tests and ultrasound
(2) physical illness
(3)abnormal levels of thyroid hormone
(4)emotional stress or illness
(5)high levels of the hormone prolactin

Blood tests can determine if any of these are present.
