What Do Dizziness And Light Headedness When Having Low BP Suggest?

My blood pressure today at 1:30 pm was 104/53 now at 4:15 it s 105/54. I m 66 year old healthy woman. I ve been real dizzy and light headed today is the reason for checking my blood pressure. I was just at my doctors office Wednesday for checkup and blood work. It was a little low. But not like today.

Hi,

As your diastolic blood pressure is very low (53 and 54), I would advise you to stay hydrated and use more salt in diet. However, if your dizziness does not improve even after your diastolic blood pressure reach more than 70 mm HG then you should check your Complete Blood Count (CBC) just to make sure you are not anemic and your hemoglobin level is normal.
