What Do Elevated ESR And Platelet Count Indicate?

My 9 year old daughter did an ESR and platelets test on 8/19/17 and the results was ESR 44 and platelets 464 she was on antibiotics and she repeated both tests today only this time she has been off the antibiotics for roughly two weeks. The results are ESR 68 platelets 466. What exactly does this mean for a 9 years old? I am worried as I know it s higher.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

An hCG level above 25 mIU/ml is considered positive for pregnancy. Have a transvaginal ultrasound to confirm your pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
