What Do Elevated Absolute Myelocyte Levels Indicate?

I just had a complete blood test were all of the results were normal except my absolute myelocyte level was a 94 Is this a high level reading. What are the chances that it indicates I have leukemia. I am going to see a hemotolagist in 2 weeks.

Hello

Welcome to the healthcareMagic

Myelocyte bulge is seen in chronic myeloid leukemia. Kindly provide me your CBC report, pelvic examination report and clinical history for giving more comment.
If series cells are more elevated with increase in premature cells of Myelocytes, then chronic myeloid leukemia should be ruled out. But if you provide all reports then I can guide you further. If blast in PS present more than 20% than acute myeloid leukemia can be possibility.

Take care.

Hope this will help you.
