What Do Elevated Liver Enzymes Indicate?

I HAVE CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE STAGE 1, GOUT ARTHRITIS, CESTESTIAL CYSTITUS AND GALL STONES, I PASS KIDNEY STONES IN BOTH KIDNEYS, RIGHT IS URIC ACID AND LEFT IS CALCIUM. I HAVE HAD RENAL BLEEDING FOR OVER A WEEK. MY GASTROLOGIST HAD DONE BLOOD WORK ON ME BEFORE IT STARTED AGAIN, I NORMALLY HAVE IT FOR A FEW DAYS AT A TIME, THE CALCULATED BUN/CREAT LEVEL WAS 32 AND THE SGOT (AST) WAS 44 AND SGPT (ALT) WAS 66 WAS DOES THIS MEAN

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.


You may be developed uremic nephropathy. Associated with uric acid stones probably with gallstones or infections or mild hepatitis. Hepatitis may be due to Infection with viral or bacterial or hepatorenal syndrome or cardiac failure etc. First you have to control serum uric acid levels with uricosuric drugs, avoid alcohol and non vegetarian food.
If uremic symptoms not improved need dialysis.
