What Do Enlarged Spleen With Disorientation And Loss Of Appetite Diagnose Suggest?
I have symptoms of an enlarged spleen, internal bleeding, enlarged lymph nodes, nausea, disorientation, low blood count, shortness of breath, loss of appetite and loss of weight. What could my diagnosis be? Please help. My friend is having these issues. Just need something to point Dr s in the right direction or maybe give some ideas of what could be wrong with him. Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. Enlarged spleen is called splenomegaly and there are various causes possibly leading to this. In first case these are infections such as mononucleosis Parasitic infections, such as toxoplasmosis or Bacterial infections. It means that any infection in your body may lead to spleen enlargement. Second most common causes include autoimmune diseases such as hrombocytopenia. If this is ruled out by specific tests then some other causes may be considered and some are more or less serious such as Leukemia Lymphoma, or someInflammatory diseases such as sarcoidosis, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis. In every case, infectious causes are treated with antibiotics and other causes may require surgical removal of spleen. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
