General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If the symptoms you mentioned are consistent then I would advise you to see a neurologist because there are different areas in the brain which have different functions like to control speech, taste, touch, pressure and so on and these areas get affected then it can result in such symptoms.

There are different reasons due to which an area of the brain can get affected like accidental injury, infection and a neurologist can find out the underlying cause if it’s related to any area of the brain or due to some other reason.

Your doctor, after doing a physical examination and with the history will further guide you on the best diagnostic test to do which can include CAT scan or MRI and few blood tests.

Once the results come, he will be able to advise you on further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
