What Do Fluttering Stomach, Missed Periods And Negative Pregnancy Result Mean?
Hi i have done a home pregnancy test 3 months ago and it showed to be positive and i went to my doctors and he did blood test on me and it showed negative but i still have not seen my period and this is 3 months now and i have just recently started feeling like fluttering in my stomach. What can it be ?
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or any hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease. However, since you had a positive urine pregnancy test and you are feeling movements in lower abdomen, pregnancy is highly likely. Sometimes, the blood test can be false negative. I would suggest you to get a ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
