Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do Frequent Urination And Excessive Vaginal Discharge Indicate?
Hi, I have recurring vaginal discharge, vulva pain, frequent urination, loose stools, leg pain and back ache and tiredness. I have also had changes with my last Pap smear which I found out today. Can you have cancer if your Pap smear is just early stage changes. Thanks
Hello Welcome to health care magic. I understand your concern regarding recurrent vaginal discharge.
From the description of symptoms you gave,it seems to me it can be pelvic inflammatory disease. However, you said there were changes in your PAP smear report. Can you provide me with its details? Early stage changes means the lining epithelium do show abnormal changes which can later on invade the underlying structure if not treated. It may indicate early sign of cervical cancer. However, more investigations like CT scan pelvis needs to be done for that purpose.
I recommend you to keep following up with your gynaecologist. You need not worry it is manageable in this stage.
Hope I answered your query. Wish you good health.
Thanks and regards.
