What Do Headache And Pain Above The Right Eye Indicate?

In Dec 2015, I went to ER with extreme headache over right eye. After MRI & CAT test, the ER doctor diagnosed me with multiple myeloma. The test revealed 30 osteolytic lesions (holes) in my scull. It was noted that a lesion over my right eye appeared to breach the outer table of the skull. The 30 lesions vary in size. I was referred to my local RA oncologist and MD Anderson Cancer Center. After numerous tests at MD Anderson, it was determined that I do not have multiple myeloma. I still have these holes and extreme headaches that last only about 10 seconds. The head aches occur all over my head but mainly over the right eye and right temporal region. Neurologist said they were skull hemangiomas and said see you in a year which will be Dec 2017. Question: Are there other reasons for the holes?

Other causes of skull erosion, apart from Multiple myeloma and hemangioma, are brain meningioma, tumour of base of skull, some brain tumours like neuroendocrine tumors of pituitary. Considering the information you have provided I think there should be no doubt in your mind that those are hemangiomas which are a type of growth of blood vessels.
