What Do High CRP Levels And Swollen Glands In Neck And Groin Suggest?

I am 37 and I have a high CRP level and swollen glands in the neck and groin. Also I am very susceptible to skin infection and have a few on my body right now. I have an IUD and also had strep a few weeks ago and never finished my antibiotic. Could I have MRSA? Lupus? Leukemia? What s wrong with me?

Hello,

High levels of CRP are indicative of infection in the organism. Swollen glands in the neck and groin means that might be an infection around such as ears or throat or tonsils. Please discuss with your doctor to find the exact cause.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
