What Do Hipocromia And Anisocitosis Mean?

i have heavy periods and my blood test came as hemoglobina 8.1. hematocrito 30% mcv 90.9 MCH 23, MCHC 27 HIPOCROMIA AND ANISOCITOSIS. does thid means i haVE anemia due to the heavy menstrual or due to low iron? can you help with this information? i am 46 and had myomas before.1 cirgury to remove myomas and 2 c- seccion, , 3 miscarriages and after a miscarriage 4 years ago my periods are heavy.

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have low mcv and low hb. Your rdw is high. All findings are suggestive of iron deficiency anemia. Cause of your anemia is iron deficiency due to heavy menstrual blood loss. You should consult your gynecologist and take treatment of that.
