What Do Holes In The Pelvis Indicate?

While doing a HSG, my radiologist discovered holes in my pelvis , so concerning to her that she chased me down in the parking lots as I was leaving to return for more xrays. She then pointed then out on the subsequent images, but wouldn t tell me what she thought about them or what they were. She said my GP would probably contact me. This happened today Friday, and waiting until Monday to talk to the doctor is torture. Can someone offer an opinion?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

There are many possibilities for the hole in the pelvis as some inflammatory lesion, connecting sinus from an external surface or else.

Detailed history, physical examination and co-relation of the supportive data are mandatory to comment further precisely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
