What Do I Do If The Bleeding Stops After Taking Mifepristone And Misoproatol?

Hello. I took mifepristone and after 14 hrs tpok misoproatol vaginaly at an intetval of 6 hrs. Not bleeding heavily. One big round clot cane out after taking the second dose of misoprostol. Tody is my 2 nd day very little bleeding and clotting. What do i do if it stops?

Understand your concern.
mifepristone and misoprostol should be taken under the expert guidance and supervision of gynecologist after confirming the early intrauterine pregnancy by trans vaginal USG (Up to 63 days of pregnancy). Bleeding normally start with in 1-2 hour after the last misoprostol dose. Bleeding will depend on dose and age of pregnancy. Bleeding is just more than normal period with blood clots with abdominal cramp. Bleeding will stops in 3-4 days as abortion process is completed in uncomplicated case. But if bleeding continue after 7 days, you should contact the gynecologist. For safe practice get the USG done to confirm the incomplete abortion and post residue product of abortion. Maintain pelvic hygiene, proper rest and healthy diet with iron supplements is advisable. Choose contraception method and use safe sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancies in future.
