What Do Increasing Reddish Spots On The Bottom Of The Foot Indicate?

I have reddish spots on the bottom of my foot that turns purple when I get cold. It started as one spot within what looks like a demple. It appears to have spread now. Any ideas on what this is? My podiatrist said it was inflammation, but I have no pain.

Hi,

In absence of obvious allergy or other inflammatory cause, there can be the possibility of an autoimmune issue through immune complex-mediated events and the same should be evaluated with an expert immunologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
