What Do Intermittent Episodes Of Heart Flutters Indicate?
I have occasional heart flutters, especially when I am not consistent with my blood pressure meds. The other day I went out for a 40 minute walk and when I came back into our house I had a short sharp pain in my upper left chest area and then I was feeling lightheaded and sat down for awhile. Since then I have been normal but concerned. I do have a doctors appointment Monday morning - the soonest the could get me in. Otherwise I was instructed to go to the emergency room if it happened again. I was just doing some research on my own now...

How do you know its a flutter. Its a medical term. You may be having what are called palpitations. Check your hemoglobin. Get an ECG and also get a chest x-ray. It can be just anemia but it can also be heart issue.
