I think I may have thrush. I am diabetic, and I shower everyday, but I think I may have gotten thrush. I’m not sexually active, the skin is cracking and leaving small cuts, and causing the foreskin to be hard to pull back. Also sometimes itchy, and producing lots of smegma

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per history you might have balanitis like penile infection.

Local examination needed to conform whether it is fungal or anything else.

If it is fungal infection than topical Clotrimazole and oral Fluconazole given.

Anti inflammatory drug can be prescribed.

If you have phimosis means skin can't retracted back than circumcision might needed in future if no improvement with medication. Consult urologist for examination.
