What Do Itching And Inflammation On The Body Indicate?

my skin has become itcy and when I scratch my skin it becomes red and then it develops big boil like structure over the skin. My doctor has prescribed Montek lc tablet which I have been using over a month now but no relief. If i stop taking the table I cant control my skin itching.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It appears to be acute urticaria. Montelukast alone wont be of much help. Hydroxyzine should be prescribed in addition. If there was a preceding infection, then it should be treated.
