What Do Itchy And Bleeding Rashes On The Body Indicate?

I have a rash on both sides that bleeds then it starts to itch then turns black and fades with topical steroid treatment it is around my waist and on my forearms as well. Any idea what it may be? I was living with someone who was diagnosed with MERSA . I thought it was a reaction to ARAVA . I have Rheumatoid Arthritis.
