What Do Itchy And Red Rashes On The Arms, Chest And Stomach Indicate?
I have an itchy rash of unknown origin. Taking no new meds, can t pinpoint anything. Doesn t act like poison ivy/oak. very itchy red bumps. No weeping. A spot will start itching BEFORE a rash actually appears. What could I possibly have? It s on both lower arms, a few spots on my chest, and belly. This morning have more itchy bumps coming up on my belly. Thank you for your help. I m stumped.

It can be allergic rash but possibility of scabies should be ruled out. Using topical steroids as well as oral anti histamines like Cetirizine or Loratidine may be helpful. If problem persists, may needed dermatologist review.
