What Do Itchy, Dry Vagina With Pimples And Discharge After Having Sex Suggest?
I recently had sex, it was my first time with this guy, but not my first time ever. We tried for a while but he had a hard time inserting his penis, which actually ended up putting a small rip in what I think is my Labia minora. That healed but if had a lot of clear vaginal discharge and pimples and dead skin in my pubic areas. It was also itchy a day or to after but not anymore. I ve had discharge before and also dry skin and pimples in my pubic area but I just want to make sure that there s not something I don t realize with my body.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Trauma to labia minora can be the cause of increased vaginal discharge. Thus, you can wait for some more days and allow rest to the genitalia. Rest will allow time for the injury site to heal and the discharge can stop spontaneously. Pimples in the pubic region can be due to boil or furunculosis (inflammation of hair follicle). A clinical assessment of the pubic region is required to know the nature of lesions in pubic region and thus plan its management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
