What Do Itchy Rashes On The Forearms And Legs Indicate?

I have a rash on my forearms, shins--back of legs under side of my forearms--it itches !!!!! I have red bumps, --not in a row or pattern--I have used Benedryl itch gel & clobestal cream to minimize the itch--it has been going on for about a week now--when it was on the front of my thighs--I used the cream & gel --so far no more itching there but I can still see--red bumps--got an idea of what it might be ??Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Dear. You might be having some allergic rashes. Allergy can develop due to several reasons- some foods like egg, fish, pollen grains, animal hair, nylon, terylene clothes. Just try to find out what you are allergic to & avoid it. Try home remedies. Apply coconut oil daily three times a day for one week. If you are not better consult a dermatologist. It can be fungal infection or eczema. with regards- Dr Sanjay Kini
