What Do Itchy Rashes On The Upper Chest And Shoulders Indicate?

I have had an itchy rash on my skin on my upper chest and shoulders and arms that has lasted for four weeks. I’ve tried permethrin ointment and I’m on my third tube. I wash all bedding and clothes daily in hot water and then in a hot dryer. I’ve tried adding bleach to my bath water and Epsom salts. It is not responding to anything. I’m an RN and just a little OCD, so my house has been cleaned non stop using bleach where I can for surfaces! I’ve been treated with a seven day regimen with antibiotics. I need help, please as nothing is working!

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It seems you are maintaining hygienic conditions. Hope you are not suffering from some bug bite, check out the mattress in which you sleep. These itchy rashes can be due to scabies, its highly contagious & sexual contact is the most common form of infection in sexually active people, perhaps you are suffering from scabies. Try Ascabiol Lotion. Take a hot bath before you apply this lotion locally from head down to your entire body. Leave it for an hour or so and then take a bath again. One application is sufficient to kill the mites, but if needed you can repeat after 15 days.
