Hi, I have had red rough itchy bumps pop up on the tops of both my shoulders at base of neck they work their way down my chest and now I am getting them under my one breast on top of rib cage it s just working it s way down but not many like my shoulders and it hurts for anything to touch them and when I take a shower the water burns it for just a little bit then goes away. When u touch them u can feel just how raised they are. I don t know what to do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

Red painful itching lesions are commonly either chicken pox or shingles. Allergic reaction can also cause itchy lesions but these are not usually painful. It would be best to be seen by your doctor to determine the exact cause. I hope this helps.

Hope this clarifies your concerns. Thank you for the query.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
