What Do Lesions On The Cervix In A Pap Smear Test Indicate?

4 years ago I had an irregular pap smear....which lead to me having an ablation...I have not had any trouble since. I went in for a routine yearly and they called to say that the pap showed some lesions on my cervix. I need to have a biopsy done. should I be worried?
