General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Whitish discharge when having diabetes can be most likely from yeast infection. When sugar level is high in blood it is usual to get yeast infection. You can go for a swab test to rule out yeast infection. Blood sugar should be checked and should be managed with medications and diet. For yeast infection you can apply creams containing clotrimazole for local application. This is available as over the counter in brands like monistat. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
