What Do Light Vaginal Bleeding And Nausea Indicate?

About 6 weeks ago i had sexual intercourse for a week straight without protection. A few days later i started my period. it was a light period but 5 days long, my average length. After my period my Vaginal discharge change fast. it was kind of thick and white. The smell was matallic. I started to have symptoms of pregnancy. My breast hurt really bad, i was fatigued, nauseous, headaches, heartburn, lower back pain (although my back has always hurt but its now a little worse), and some foods started to taste wierd to me. So i took a pregnancy test about 2 weeks ago (about 4 weeks after sexual intercourse). it was negative. then i started my period again 7 days ago. The first day was VERY light, the second day was heavier but it was average. the same for day 3 and 4. Although my last day was EXTREMELY light. yesturday i had no bleeding. although today i found fresh blood on my toilet paper. it was only a little. so i took another pregnancy test in the afternon but it said negative but the second line that would tell me if i was pregnant or not was EXTREMELY faint but i could see it. does it mean anything? May i be pregnant? if not my does/did my vaginal fluid smell like metal and look white?

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your query.
With unprotected sex 6 weeks ago -- home pregnancy test should be strong + ve.& you are having faint line through out.(.more likely to be not pregnant).. You also had light bleeding twice in theses days.you have pregnancy like symptoms.
Pregnancy test can be false + ve or weak + ve when the urine container/ urine / vaginal discharge are infected or contaminated.I see this possibility in your case.. Like cervical/ pelvic infection causing the typical discharge & also causing unusual periods.
Doubt of pregnancy can be removed by USG pelvis.
Pregnancy like symptoms can be seen without pregnancy ... in case of hormonal imbalance, here the disturbed hormonal levels give the symptoms.
* In such condition you need a through internal check up by a gynecologist followed by deep vaginal swab culture & sensitivity test/ hormonal assay, to note the infection/ hormonal imbalance- followed by suitable cause specific treatment.
Please consult a gynecologist.
Thanks
