What Do Loose Stools After Falling Down The Stairs Suggestive Of?

I fell down a flight of stairs yesterday, about 12 maybe, and I hit my left hip really hard. The pain went away and now I m not feeling too well, I went to the bathroom to take a poop, but all that came out was yellow liquid. My boyfriend and his dad said I probably pinched a nerve but it feels alot more than that.

Hello,

loose stools after falling from chairs are indicative of internal trauma, if the injury is at the level of or at a lower level of T11 / T12, then the muscles get loose and cause incontinence or loose stools.

Since fall from stairs can also cause sprains or fractures, you are suggested to get clinically examined by an orthopedics and get all required investigations and imaging tests (CT/MRI) done. You will be treated according to the severity of the pathology detected. Avoid stressful lifestyle, stay at rest. Avoid addictions if any. Get treated at the earliest.
