What Do Lower Back Pain, Blood In Urine And Low Urine Output Post Hit On Abdomen Suggest?

I’m and 18 year female and I was recently in a car accident where the airbag hit my abdomen and I was thrown back into the seat after the impact. I am now experiencing lower back pain, blood in my urine as well as a decrease in urine output. I have a family history of cardiovascular disease and blood clots.

Hello,

It is probably due to injury in the urinary tract. It could be in the kidneys or the lower urinary tract, like the urethra for example. You need immediate medical attention because bleeding in the kidney could be potentially fatal. An immediate radiological assessment of the urinary tract is warranted.

I hope you find my comments helpful!
You can contact me again if you'd like any clarification or further information.

Kind regards!
