General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to the scar tissue. It can cause its own side effects. If scar tissue forms around a stitch from surgery it's called a suture granuloma and also feels like a lump. It is benign and don't require treatment. You should not be worried.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
