What Do Lymph Nodes Swollen Under The Arms And Neck Indicate?

I have had lymph nodes swollen under both my arms neck and down spine for about 2 weeks now. This past week I am having stiff neck and pressure in my neck and have been very fatigued. I am a retired nurse and I figured that I was fighting off a bacteria. But I have really felt bad the past 2 days

Hi..
Thanks for the query.

As per your complain swollen lymph nodes under the ams, neck and spine is known as LYMPHADENOPATHY and it is commonly due to infections in the nearby and distant regions of the body..

After thorough examination and investigations the correct diagnosis and treatment can be done ..

In case of infections and inflammation antibiotics like Augmentin or amoxicillin and antiinflammatory medicines like steroids can be taken..

In case if there is some doubt still left Biopsy of lymph nodes can be done..

Hope this information helps..

Regards..
