What Do Malignant Neoplasm Of Breast In The Below Summary Report Indicate?

I just had surgery on Tuesday to remove abnormal cells from my left breast. On the discharge form it states under problem list: malignant neoplasm of breast (female) unspecified. and Primary diagnoses as: left breast cancer. Does this mean that I definitely have cancer?

HI

Yes you are having breast cancer as discharge mentions malignant neoplasm of breast.

I would advise you six doses of intravenous chemotherapy with docetatxel at 21 days of interval followed by radiation and hormonal therapy.

Regards

DR DE
