What Do Mouth Ulcers Along With Itchy Scalp Indicate?

I have a sore mouth, small bumps an enlarged taste buds. I also have a terrible taste like metal my eyes burn my scalp is very itchy by checks feel like they are on fire and it is very difficult to eat anything and have had a light headache 4-5 days? I had this before and they can be a oral mouth rinse and I used it for about 5 days before it cleared up, they said it was a virus by I feel worse this time? What could be causing this and how can I prevent it?

Hello,

The symptoms that you are facing can be due to viral infection, however it can also be due to sinus infection. You should consult an Oral Physician or an Emergency room and get evaluated.

For now, follow the below treatment plan:
- You can start gargling with specialised mouthwash like Magic Mouthwash to reduce soreness and enlarged taste buds.
- Do warm saline gargles.
- You can also take Vitamin B complex supplements and Vitamin C pellet.
- Take Levocetirizine to reduce itching and burning sensation.
- Take Acetaminophen for aches and rise in temperature.
- Take light meals; drink plenty of water and sufficient rest.

If there is no improvement, consult an Emergency room and get checked.
