General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The MRI reports shows multiple small ischemia. This means that very minute blood clots had been there which has blocked minute vessels in the brain repeatedly and hence small areas of damage in the brain.

This is not uncommon specially in patients with hypertension and old age. Generally we recommend to use a baby Asprin or other blood thinner in such patients life long if not contraindicated.

Besides risk factors like high cholesterol high BP or sugar if any should also be checked for and controlled.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
