What Do Muscle Cramps In The Upper Arm Indicate?

I am experiencing muscle cramps in my upper arm, and when I wake up in the morning I have several trigger fingers and thumb and my hands an he through the night and in the morning until I start using them. ininitially thought it was a side effect to Lasartin but I am now in a different medication and I m still experiencing it. Why is this happening and what can I do to prevent it from continuing?

For muscle cramps neurological examination has to be done first.

Hypocalcemia, electrolyte disturbance etc should be ruled out by serum calcium, serum pottasium, serum sodium investigation.

Than if needed EMG or NCV like study done.

Consult neurologist for examination and discuss your case
