What Do My BP Levels Indicate?

My blood pressure has been reading high diastole in the past couple of weeks. Right now it is reading 124/90 in left arm and 119/79 in right arm. I am Female, 69 yrs, 155lbs and 5.7". When I got up this morning and did a few things in the kitchen it was reading 134/94 in left arm. Should I be concerned?

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
First of all Blood pressure of both arms should be same at same time. Different Blood pressure in both arms shows some error in reading or some equipment error.
Secondly rise of Blood pressure after some physical activity is normal. Hence Blood pressure of 134/94 mm Hg is normal, if you had some physical work. Blood pressure should be near to 120/80mm at resting stage. After some work it will rise.
Even BP reading of 124/90 is not much too be concerned. If your blood pressure still remains high at resting stage, You should consult a physician. Meanwhile you should decrease salt intake in your foods. You should also start light exercise daily.

Refer to a physician
Hope this information helps
