What Do My X-ray Lab Test Results Indicate?

his X-ray result was suspicous densities are seen in the right upper lungfield, Apico-lordotic is suggested. The Apico-lordotic view result was, irregular densities are seen in the upper lungfield. Impression: Consider PTB right of undetermined activity clinical and bacteriologic correlation is suggested. AFB result is negative, Does he need to undergo TB DOTS treatment???

For density in lung, tuberculosis if confirmed and patient is Symptomatic then only akt started...

Just density in x ray doesn't confirm tuberculosis..

For tuberculosis if needed gene expert study can be done

If you are asymptomatic then no need of immediate starting akt...

Take care

Consult pulmonologoist for examination and discuss with clinical correlation whether need for akt or not
