What Do My X-ray Report Indicate?

Cardiomediastinal silhouette and pulmonary vascularity are within normal limits. What do these chest x ray results mean to you? Minimal hazy opacities within the bilateral lung bases, likely subsegmental atelectasis; however, underlying infiltrate cannot be entirely excluded. Please correlate clinically. Bilateral costophrenic angles are sharp. No pneumothorax. Visualized osseous structures show no destructive lesions.

This is nothing important in this report, it is a normal finding in most of the patients, but sometime if you have certain complaints for example fever, or shortness of breath etc... this can be a sign of the desease and than the doctor would prescribe you other examinations, like HRCT or respiratory function test etc... But in most of the cases is a normal finding.
