What Do My Biopsy Reports On Thyroid Nodules?

Hello, I have had 2 biopsies on my thyroid nodules. The small one on the right was problematic , and I am waiting for my endochinologist for further information, about Alta Bates Hospital s Pathologist s approval for an indepent pathologist from S. San Francisco to meet at Alta Bates, take an another biopsy and take it back for something called an Affirma or Afirma test. I don t even understand what they are looking for. I am not fat. The nodule on the left was enormous, and came back normal . Can you explain to me what this thyroid (very small on the right) is all about. I am 5 6 and weigh around 115 lbs.

I really appreciate your concern, you have not mentioned your clinical sign and symptoms here because this is more important to judge the nature of disease and seriousness, it is better to get done the thyroid function test too, once the all the report are ready then and then something can be said, hope this information, take care and have a nice day.
