What Do My Chest X-ray Test Readings For Chest Pain Indicate?
Dear Sir, I am 31 year old and I had some cough issues for last one month. Day before yesterday I felt a chest pain in the left side and I went to nearest clinic Doctor advised me to take ECG and X ray ECG report was normal But X rays shows in bold “Prominent bronchovascular marks noted in both lungs” Can you please advice is it a major isuue and what kind of treatment should I need to take Kindly advice Arun Kumar
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Chest X-ray depicting 'Prominant bronchovascular markings in both lungs' with history of cough for more than a month duration is indicative of chronic lower respiratory tract infection. It would be ideal to go for sputum culture and sensitivity test. Based on the nature of organism and sensitivity to the antibiotics, appropriate antibiotic needs to be chosen and its complete course needs to be taken. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
