What Do My Mammogram Test Reports Indicate?

Hello. A recent series of mammograms and follow views has confirmed a change (increase in size) of an asymmetry in my left breast. The radiologist said that his philosophy is to do no further follow-up (ultrasound or biopsy) until or unless a lump becomes palpable and clearly shows up on mammography. Your thoughts?

Hi,

The report mentions that no problem as of now and no need of any follow up also. Only you need to visit again if any lump is felt to your hand.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Phanindra Dulipala, Diabetologist
