Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this -

1) Do a clinical examination by your doctor [Neurologist] and to confirm do few investigations like [Fasting blood sugar, Lipid profile, amino acid homocysteine, carotid ultrasonography, Echo, arteriography, and MRI scan]

2) Discuss permanent treatment plan with medication after investigation reports only.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -

1) Try to avoid smoking.

2) Limit cholesterol and fat. Cutting back on cholesterol and fat, especially saturated fat and trans fat, in your diet may reduce the buildup of plaques in your arteries. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. These foods contain nutrients such as potassium, folate, and antioxidants.

3) Limit sodium in your diet if you have blood pressure.

4) Do exercise regularly. If you have high blood pressure, regular exercise is one of the few ways you can lower your blood pressure without drugs.

5) Limit alcohol intake. Drink alcohol in moderation, if at all.

6) Try to maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight contributes to other risk factors, such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. Losing weight with diet and exercise may lower your blood pressure and improve your cholesterol levels.

6) Don't use any drugs without advised by your doctor.

7) Control of diabetes. You can manage diabetes with diet, exercise, weight control and, when necessary, medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
