What Do Numbness And Swelling In The Arms And Legs Indicate?

I am a diabetic Since age 18 I am 46 now,I have so much stress at home with a jealous husband,an PARENTS with health problems . I am on anxiety meds Buspirone HCL10mg 3daily, paroxetine20mg 1daily at night,metformin 1000mg 2x daily, glimepiride 4mg 1x daily, devastating 1x daily at night, fish oil vitamin 1000mg 1default,vitamin c 500mg,vitamin d3 1000iu 1x daily, aspirin 81 mg 1x daily. My A1C is a 9 three months ago it was a 7. I am not passing blood anywhere except monthly period. I have burning in left leg from knee to bottom of foot with swelling,numbness in both arms,hands What is going on with me? Teresa

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I see the situation you are in as peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes and also impaired kidney function. You should talk to your endocrinologist to add you may be Gabapentin for peripheral neuropathy and also adjust insulin dosage. Also you are taking too much anxiolytics so should consult your neurologist.
