What Do Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Left Thigh Indicate?

Hi, my left thigh is numb an tingly and it really bothers me at night when I m trying to sleep, I also have this problem on the right side too but, the right side does not bother me as much as the left. Left side bothers me night and day...its really annoying...I do have spinal stenosis...is there a connection?
