What Do Numbness And Weakness On The Left Side Of The Body Indicate?

Hello, I am post-op meningioma brain tumor in 2009, right frontal-parietal lobe location. I have had numbness/weakness on my entire left side ever since. Immediately post op, I had hemiparesis on my left side which through therapy improved. I progressed to being able to walk with a cane. I have had numbness and tingling on my left side ever since the surgery but the past 1-2 years I am getting MUCH worse. VERY HEAVY FEELING and greatly increased numbness on entire left side. My Dr. said I have increased spasicity. VERY difficult to walk now. Lt. foot completely numb now. Had MRI-brain and total spine DEC 2017. NO physical reason found on MRIs for this marked change. I need help soon because I feel worse all the time.

Hello,

The physiotherapy would need to be intensified in an effort to combat the changes that are occurring. The doctor may need to consider blood tests and genetic testing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
