What Do Numbness, Burning Sensation And Stiffness On Foot Indicate?

I have a 5th metatarsal break - comminuted fracture - and am in a boot. On the day it was broken my doc said I could put weight on it if I could bare the pain but I did not do so until the next day. I hasn t really hurt until now - about a week later. It feels like it s numb, tingling, burning / hot, stiff. I ve been walking on it and using a scooter for longer distances. Does walking on it help or hurt the healing process?

Walking will make it worth, try to visit your doc as soon as possible to put it again in cast, as the healing process will be longer if you left it like this.
