What Do Pain And Bleeding In The Ears Indicate?

I noticed tonight that blood and pus draining from each ear. It felt like i had just gotten out of the pool and both ears were filled with water [a pretty typical feeling]. I ve had extremely painful (sharp pain) ear aches in both ears and now experience a hearing severe hearing loss. I just got my flu shot so figured I had a contracted a head cold although I was not conjested (sinuses felt full but no nose blowing) and have a very bad sore throat. I don t like walk in clinics and my physician is not available until Monday. I have rinsed each ear canal with peroxide. Your thoughts?

Hello,

You may be suffering from acute supportive otitis media with membrane rupture. It may be due to Eustachian tube block or due to middle ear infection.

Avoid cool drinks and freeze water, avoid cold environment. Use tablet Alday dc twice a day for five days, and tablet Amoxiclavulinate twice a day for five days. Also, avoid entering of water into ears. Use salt water gargling and water vapor inhalation.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
