hi sir,happy to see a very detailed history which really helps a treating doctor.symptoms seem to be due to
joint effusion.it can occur in inflammation.most common causes are
1)osteoarthritis
2)rheumatoid arthritis
3)
joint infections like tuberculosis,
septic arthritis due to streptococcus,
staphylococcus etc.
4)loose bodies in the joint
though the list doesn’t end here,these are common.moreover,for temporary pain relief,you can go for analgesics like ibuprofen,aceclofenac.caution if you have any renal issues.tab.acetaminophen or opioids can be used.topical NSAID liniments can be used.glucosamine/chondroitin sulphate capsules help improve the
synovial fluid in joint space.
let me mention one more possibility I.e;
reactive arthritis.in this,joint effusion or infection,
urinary tract infection,mild fever are present.in this case,the treatment of underlying situation,subsides joint pathology.
if you don’t get any relief with the above medication,you can go for an diagnostic arthroscopy.hope my answer is clear enough to address your concerns.further doubts if any,please let me know.thank you.take care.bye.
