What Do Pain And Itching In The Breast And Nipples Indicate?

Hi, I have pain on my Left breast, itchy nipple and black heads on my left armpit. Ill be turning 59 y.o this coming April. My last mammogram said I have dense breast. The pain increases when I have menstruation, a week before menstruation or when I had too much coffee intake. Do I need to see a doctor? My last left breast ultrasound 5 years ago, they find a cyst that the size is still the same 6 months later after a repeat ultrasound? Please help me what to do.

Please, visit your doctor asap. You will need to go for a mammogram​ for keeping a check on breast cancer do physical examination of both the breasts and check for swelling or hardening of any lymph nodes in the armpit. Mammogram ultrasound of breast are the basic examinations done. The cyst is a noncancerous lesion caused due to hormonal or aging factors. Breast pain during menstruation is hormonal and very common. but giving your age the priority it's advisable to visit a doctor asap and get an ultrasound done
